{"id":939,"date":"2017-03-24T12:30:57","date_gmt":"2017-03-24T12:30:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.margiesrecipes.com\/?p=939"},"modified":"2017-03-24T12:30:57","modified_gmt":"2017-03-24T12:30:57","slug":"fettuccine-with-prosciutto-and-egg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.margiesrecipes.com\/?p=939","title":{"rendered":"Fettuccine with Prosciutto and Egg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1 pound of Fettuccine<br \/>\n6 ounces of prosciutto, cut in thin strips<br \/>\n1 onion, diced,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3 eggs<br \/>\n1 cup of grated Parmigiano<br \/>\n1\/4 cup of heavy cream<br \/>\n4 ounces of butter<br \/>\nSalt to taste and freshly ground pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">Instructions:<\/span><\/strong><\/strong> Total time: 30 minutes<\/p>\n<p>In a large skillet over medium heat, saut\u00e9 the butter and onion until transparent. Add the prosciutto and cook until golden, but not crisp. Remove from heat<\/p>\n<p>In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and the cream until smooth, and then mix with the Parmigiano.<\/p>\n<p>Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine until al dente. Drain it, retaining some of the cooking water.<\/p>\n<p>Return the prosciutto and onion mixture to a low heat. Add the pasta to the skillet. When thoroughly combined, add in the egg mixture and mix thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste.
