{"id":662,"date":"2011-08-19T16:31:36","date_gmt":"2011-08-19T16:31:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.margiesrecipes.com\/?p=662"},"modified":"2011-08-19T16:31:36","modified_gmt":"2011-08-19T16:31:36","slug":"tomato-salad-from-paris-%e2%80%93-serves-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.margiesrecipes.com\/?p=662","title":{"rendered":"TOMATO SALAD FROM PARIS \u2013 SERVES 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><strong>This is more a directional recipe than anything to be measured out.<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1><strong>Place a leave of leaf lettuce (or bibb or mache) on each salad plate.<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1><strong>Place about 5 kalamata olives sliced on top of the lettuce leaf.<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1><strong>Spread a \u00bd inch thick slice of tomato with herb goat cheese and place it on top of the olives<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1><strong>Fry a \u00bd inch thick slice of egg plant about the diameter of whatever your tomato slice is.\u00a0 I fry it in a dry non stick skillet until it is brown on both sides and a little soft.<br \/>\nLeave the skin on.\u00a0 Cool it.<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1><strong>Spread the egg plant slice with herb goat cheese and place it on top of the tomato slice.<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1><strong>Top the eggplant slice with another 2\/3 inch thick tomato slice.<br \/>\nDrizzle Barefoot\u2019s French viniagarette dressing over salad and garnish<br \/>\nwith fresh chopped basil and parsely.<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1><strong>This salad is pretty and delicious and very easy to make.\u00a0 Can be assembled at least and hour before serving.<\/strong><\/h1>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is more a directional recipe than anything to be measured out.
